Ontario entered Step 3 of the Roadmap to Reopen. While Harmony Place remains closed for day supports, our friends at Delta Downsview have re-opened!

Delta Downsview hosts Bingo sessions and provides financial support to charities in their community, like Harmony Place.

There is no doubt that the pandemic hit Harmony Place hard. Between extended closures and reduced program capacity and purchasing additional PPE and supplies when we were open it was a lot to manage financially for a small charity with an already strict budget.

Since the original lockdown in March 2020, Delta Downsview’s support has been unwavering despite ongoing closures. Their continued financial support has helped us to maintain the lease of our location at 132 Railside Rd. and purchase the necessary PPE and personal care items like gloves, wipes, dry cloths, bed liners, and clothing protectors, needed to keep everyone at our program safe and healthy.

We are so thankful Delta Downsview has been able to re-open to continue supporting charities in need.
